Turning Antique Bed to Bench For Profit

This antique bed was bought at a yard sale. The color was so unique, I didn't want to paint it. I didn't want it in one of our bedrooms either, as it just wouldn't match anything. So I converted it into this bench, as this seems to be a trendy thing over the past few years.

This cushion was found on Amazon, and I kept the cushion measurements in mind when building the bench in order to make sure it fit. I cut the footboard down with my table saw, and used the included wooden bed rails to finish the frame. I cut slats from a 2x4, and painted them brown to match the cushion. This turned out great, and sold for several hundred dollar$.
